www.oceangeneration.org is a site operated by Ocean Generation (formally Plastic Oceans UK). We are a registered charity in England and Wales under charity number 1139843. Our registered office is 25 Lavington Street, London, SE1 0NZ.

Donations made on our website

All payments and donations made through our website are to be made by credit or debit card. When you confirm that you wish to proceed with making a donation, your transaction will be processed by either Stripe (one-off donations) or GoCardless (recurring).

Before we can process a donation, you must provide us with (i) your name, address, and email address; and (ii) details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to finance the donation. We will use this information to process your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you have supplied us with the correct information.

When you submit your payment details, these details will be transferred to one of our payment providers, Stripe or GoCardless, and your payment data will be collected and processed securely by them. Please ensure you are familiar with their terms and conditions, which are different from our own, to make sure that you are comfortable with how they will manage your personal data before you donate.

If you choose to make a recurring donation, confirming that you wish to proceed authorises GoCardless to request the specified funds from your credit or debit card on the day selected each month.

Access to Educational Resources and Downloads

Access to and use by you of all digital educational downloads and resources is subject to these terms and conditions.

While Ocean Generation endeavours to ensure that all resources are available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason they are unavailable at any time and for any period.

While we take all reasonable attempts to safeguard our website and digital materials against viruses, other harmful components and ensure they are error-free, we cannot guarantee such elimination.
